I hear from people who starts living here in the UAE ( Dubai ,Sharjah , Abu dhabi etc) who are new to the country is that they start experiencing a lot of hair fall when the I have been living here most of my life.
I also faced extreme hair fall a couple of years back and I’ve been dealing with that I’ve tried different oils different home remedies a lot of things and I’m here to finally share my experience
– Living in hot climates causes our pores to open when sweating. This allows sand and dirt to be trapped in our hair follicles etc. then when we enter air conditioning our pores quickly close stopping hair from being able to grow,
First of all a word of advice
if your hair fall was not something that developed over time and it was something drastic and sudden I will say this to consult a doctor because your problem could be triggered by some internal factor.
And by internal problems I mean like hormonal factors such as thyroid or you menopause Hereditary factors such as your parents and relatives are all having extreme hair fall. Certain medications which are prescribed for his heart related issues ,antidepressants all these can cause a problem for your hair.
Then there is scalp infections Dandruff is not the only thing that could attack your scalp ,the seborrheic dermatitis or maybe some type of psoriasis that can affect only your scalp so if you will consult with the doctor that only they can find out if it’s the internal factor ssuch as disease which I mentioned.
but there are some EXTERNAL FACTORS that lets us see we bring it upon ourselves such as
There is the issue with the water pipelines containing sand, dirt and heavy metals in some of the buildings. This fosters a lot of bacteria and the government has to inject a lot of chlorine to stop people getting sick.
The problem with chlorine is that it drys out our hair and skin leaving it prone to breaking.
– FATTY DIET
Yes eating only fatty food will cause deficiecy of beneficial vitamins and nutrients so it will increase hair loss. So me people will say not to have fats not have carbohydrates but the truth is that you should have a well-balanced diet which should include all the necessary components fats carbohydrates proteins vitamins.
Stress also cause increased hair fall, called “Telogen Effluvium” in medicine which usually is reversible ,but if you are stressing continuously ,you are not giving time to regrow . So the best thing for combating stress would be exercise or do some yoga .
This will not only help you get fit but also your hair will start growing more healthy when you start exercising because there’s blood circulation all over the scalp .
Well a lot of fuss of coloring your hair keratin treatment reporting at least others where they go for like almost daily processes of blow-drying your hair or strengthening your hair basically involving a lot of heat to your hair now this is not at all good all right.
Even if its rewarding, but the heat breaks the protein within your head it damages your hairs the blow-drying so its is going to affect your hair very very badly so please stay away from all
-Okay if there is special occasion it’s good to expand your head please don’t make it to
something even as frequent as once a week, we need a good natural hair.
NOW LETS START TIPS FOR DECREASING THE HAIR LOSS:-
DONT WASH HAIRS WITH TAP WATER:-
As discussed earlier , the water here is HARD WATER and has alot of chlorine content. The problem with chlorine is that it drys out our hair and skin leaving it prone to breaking.
So USE NORMAL DRINKING WATER to wash your hairs and believe me it works like wonder.if it seems difficult to you ( which is not) ,you can always you SHOWER FILTERS. Thats the least you can do.
Shampoo that we use are sulfate free paraben free and silicon free because these items are just added chemicals that will be deposited you have to make them appear more shiny and bouncy.
Trust me your hair doesn’t need all those chemicals it’s going to bring down the health of your hair and it’s not going to improve the situation at all.
Look out for shampoos I have to say that their sulfate free also some shampoos that claim its sulphate free might not really be sulfate free so check the backside ingredient list to make sure. The BEST SULPHATE FREE SHAMPOO I USED IS JOHNSON BABY SHAMPOO.
I think all of us must have all of these foods so just include the superfood super foods such as oats nuts such as almonds and walnuts carrots citrus fruit and if you’re an honest fan of seafood such as salmon and tuna which are really high in omega-3 fatty acids ,yogurt, brown rice, green leafy vegetables,Blackseed oil, pumpkin seeds these are all really good for you.
AVOID OVER-STYLING AND HAIRDRYING:-
-Do not use heat on your hair every day or every other day and keep that to a minimum as much as possible let your hair and dry as naturally as possible as frequent as possible .
If you must do it there is another option if you have a dry like about 50% till it’s dry and then for the finishing touches you can use the blow dryer and that will add the minimum settings at the lowest speed at the lowest heat settings.
-Don’t use a regular COMB for your hairs I personally do finger comb yeah I don’t use a comb or a brush I finger comb my hairs. Yes if you are going for some events or work use WIDE TEETH COMB that you can buy from the supermarket’s not the ordinary one
-AVOID TIGHT HAIR STYLES
What Tight ponytail or a tight braid what a tight hair sir does is it pulls at your hair from the scalp it will weaken your follicles and over time it will make your hairline recede so please do avoid it.
GENTLE TOWEL ON HAIRS AFTER WASH.
Always use towel gently as aggressive use of Towel break the hairs after wash.Wait for hairs to dry 50% atleast then just put towel on head and press ,DON’T RUB.
DON’T WASH YOUR HAIRS FREQUENTLY:-
Dont wash hairs daily , it removed all the natural oils of the scalp and keep your scale and hairs dry. Which leads to breakage and more hair loss. Atleast wash your hair once in three days.
